October Comment Contest + Life Updates!
I think the September comment contest was a success, so I’ll be continuing along with this idea until the end of the year! A big thanks to everyone who left a comment this month! I loved reading your answers to my questions–it makes me feel more connected to you all! :)
The rules are the same as last time: in order to gain an entry, all you need to do is answer the comment question at the end of each post (barring Pick of the Week, since I don’t do a CQ for those)! The contest is open internationally, and your prize is any book releasing in October. Ideas below!

Life Update!
I’ve gotten to the point in the semester where my posts will be less consistent. If I go a day or two without posting, don’t fret! There will still be 1-2 reviews posted per week, and I’m planning to keep up with Pick of the Week and TotallyBooksessed. Short Story Saturday is on hold for now.
I’ve been reading three books at once these past few weeks (one for class, one for the blog, one for my internship), so I haven’t been conquering near as many review books. Though my mind is still on the blog, I’m trying to transition my mindset from “the blog is super super important” to “the blog is something I do for fun, but it’s not top priority right now”. I’m the kind of girl who likes to put a lot of things on her plate and balance all of them equally, so this shift is a challenge. But I think that if I try to think of blogging as less of a serious thing that I’ll enjoy it more. :)

Comment question: I’ve changed the blog format so that you can see full blog posts on the homepage, rather than excerpts. Which way do you prefer: the way it is now, or the way it was before?

I prefer the excerpts to the full posts, so that I can view more than one post at a time, and then read the full post if I choose to. Either way your blog looks awesome, it’s just in general I prefer excerpts in all the blogs that I follow! Thanks for the comment contest! It sounds like fun!!!!
I really like it this way! It’s easier to read in a hurry and then you just click fast to comment.

I like the full posts. I suppose for people who don’t visit very often, the other way might be better, but for regular visitors this way is better I think.

I like the full posts as well! That way there’s no extra clicking to get to the good stuff. I’m having a comment contest this month as well! It’s my first but looks like it works if you’re doing it more than once! Thanks for the contest. :D

I prefer seeing everything on the main page. I am not sure why but sometimes I forget to go back and click a certain link if I haven’t been on a site for awhile so I miss out on some posts!

I like it better this way. I like being able to read the full post on the home page. Whatever works best for you though is what matters. =)

It’s probably too late for the giveaway but I wanted to leave some feedback anyway. I most definitely prefer full posts when I’m browsing via laptop. If I’m on the phone however I think I would prefer the short ones. (But I rarely blog visit on the phone so.. xD)
